From next Friday evening, the sports channel Ziggo Sport will be presenting a new live football programme – the Ziggo Sport Voetbal Café (Ziggo Sport Soccer Café). The programme will be hosted by the presenter, Bas van Veenendaal, and the soccer pundit, Jan van Halst, and the former footballer, Ruud Gullit, will also be a regular guest. In the first programme, they will also be joined by the former international player, Arthur Numan.

Ziggo Sport Voetbal Café will include detailed advance coverage of the weekend of football ahead, along with news, interesting facts and statistics. In each programme, Joep van Run will also pay a visit to an amateur club, where he will present football news from around the country and take part in an exciting match.

Each week, this new, live programme will also be full to the brim with great soccer stories, while also featuring an absolutely brilliant pub quiz. The social media guru, Yke Visser, will talk the guests and the viewers through the most striking football-related stories on social media.

The Ziggo Sport Voetbal Café will be available every Friday night at 21.30, exclusively on Ziggo Sport, on channel 14.

Our second café programme
Marcel Beerthuizen, the managing director of Ziggo Sport is enthusiastic: “After Ziggo Sport Race Café, Ziggo Sport Voetbal Café is actually our second café-type programme on a Friday evening.
