VodafoneZiggo announced today that CEO (Chief Executive Officer), Jeroen Hoencamp, has decided to retire from the company, effective May 1st, 2024.

Mr. Hoencamp has led VodafoneZiggo since its formation in 2016 and has been a leader in the telecom industry for over 25 years. Prior to his current role, he served as CEO of Vodafone UK and Vodafone Ireland. He has now made a personal decision to embark on a new chapter in his life.

He calls his most recent years as the CEO of VodafoneZiggo “the absolute highlight of my career” and looks back with pride: “VodafoneZiggo is in good shape, with a strong position in the telecom market and I am confident we will continue to bring enjoyment and progress with every connection to our customers and to Dutch society”.

Under his leadership, the integration of Vodafone and Ziggo was successfully completed and Fixed-Mobile Convergence became a catalyst for success. Together with a strong management team, he built a purpose-driven business culture marked by high employee engagement.

Liberty Global and Vodafone Group will now start the process of finding a successor, but in the meantime Jeroen will continue to lead VodafoneZiggo and the execution of their strategy.
