As of October 2, Ziggo is increasing the internet speeds of all consumer customers. The speeds of many business customers will also be increased. To use these increased speeds, customers only need to reset their modem. Modems that customers do not reset themselves will be reset remotely by Ziggo overnight in November.

New speeds
For customers with the Basic, Start and Start XXL packages, the download speed doubles to 100, 200 and 400 Mbit/s, respectively. In addition, the upload speed for Start XXL customers increases to 40 Mbit/s. For Complete customers, the download speed is increased to 500 Mbit/s and the upload speed to 50 Mbit/s. For Max customers, the new upload speed will be 60 Mbit/s. In addition, for Giga subscription customers, Ziggo is increasing the upload speed to 100 Mbit/s.
Modem reset
In the course of October, all customers will notice the updated Internet speeds. Customers will receive a notification from Ziggo as soon as the improved speeds are available to them. To take advantage of these increased speeds, it is necessary to reset the internet modem. This can be done simply by unplugging the modem for one minute. After restarting the modem, the new down and upload speeds are immediately available. Modems that customers do not reset themselves will be reset remotely overnight by Ziggo during the month of November.
