The renewed Priority: thousands of extras claimed as new campaign goes live

5 oktober 2026

In short:

  • A festive start: The launch of the renewed Priority was celebrated with thousands of bouquets for loyal customers and a personal letter from CEO Stephen van Rooyen in De Telegraaf.
  • Immediate impact: In the first three weeks, thousands of customers have already found their way to the platform and claimed their rewards.
  • Now on TV and online: The new Priority campaign featuring Elise Schaap and StukTV officially went live on television and online channels this week.

On September 7, we launched something no other telecom company in the Netherlands has done before. With the renewed Priority, we are the first to structurally reward customers based on their tenure. The message is simple: the longer you stay, the more extras you get. The program is now in full swing. Thousands of customers have already claimed their first gifts, and starting this week, our accompanying campaign can be seen nationwide on TV and online.

A launch we celebrated together
Behind the renewed Priority lies a clear philosophy: loyal customers should be thanked. We put this message into practice in multiple ways for the launch. Our CEO, Stephen van Rooyen, wrote a personal letter to our customers, which appeared as an advertisement in De Telegraaf. He also personally visited some of our most loyal customers. Finally, we delivered thousands of bouquets to customers who have been with us for a long time to thank them for their loyalty.

“What level are you?”
The fact that the message is resonating is evident from the responses and figures from the first four weeks. “We are seeing so many customers discover the renewed Priority, check their levels, and claim loads of extras. For example, the Videoland gift is doing incredibly well among our Ziggo customers,” says Femmina Petrusma, Business Lead Priority at VodafoneZiggo. “Overall, it generates a lot of positive energy. People are literally texting each other asking, 'What level are you?' The responses to our emails have also been fantastic. Our customers really appreciate being rewarded for their loyalty.”

To maintain this momentum, we are launching a brand-new commercial on TV and online today to show the whole of the Netherlands what Priority has to offer.

Brand-new commercial
The commercial stars Elise Schaap and the men from StukTV. Developed in collaboration with creative agency Brothers & Sisters, the campaign uses several humorous scenes to showcase what Priority offers customers. The collaboration with StukTV aligns perfectly with one of the Priority benefits: a Videoland subscription gift. Using the recognizable energy of StukTV and the world of Jachtseizoen (The Hunting Season), we spotlight this benefit in a fun and accessible way.

The filming itself generated plenty of buzz. “We shot in a residential neighborhood, and people got out chairs to watch. Children were especially curious and wanted to have their picture taken with the StukTV men. Afterwards, there was even some gossip on social media, wondering whether Jachtseizoen was actually staged. In short: it came to life immediately,” says Kim Blom, Senior Marketeer at VodafoneZiggo.

How does the renewed Priority work?
Priority is the loyalty program for Vodafone and Ziggo customers. The program operates on a level-based system: the longer you stay, the higher your level, the more extras you receive. This is our way of thanking customers for their loyalty. The offers change regularly and focus primarily on entertainment, sports, music, and nights out. Through this, we surprise our customers with exclusive extras, such as:

  • A Videoland subscription gift
  • The best seats at major sporting events
  • Discounts on the best local theater and musical shows
  • A Priority upgrade at concerts in the Ziggo Dome
