Today, on International Women's Day, VodafoneZiggo is shining a spotlight on six of its female employees. Their faces will be featured on various online channels and on the façade of the Ziggo Dome.
This year, the theme of International Women’s Day is “DigitALL”, drawing attention to women in the tech industry. This theme was chosen because in the tech industry, there is still a lot of room for improvement when it comes to diversity.
VodafoneZiggo is aware that there are still relatively few women working in the tech industry and is working hard to change this. For instance, the company has held a “Girls Day” since 2019, on which young girls are introduced to the company and the telecom sector. Furthermore, VodafoneZiggo has a network dedicated to improving gender diversity within the company: Women Connected.
