Ziggo Movies & Series (X)L is going to kick off the new year with a wide range of new and attractive content after partnering with ViacomCBS Global Distribution Group. The new content includes iconic library films from Paramount Pictures to be announced in 2022, as well as select-premium and fan-favorite series from SHOWTIME® and CBS Studios, such as Ray Donovan and Dexter, new and exclusive series such as American Rust, and exclusive seasons of City on a Hill and Evil.
Ziggo constantly works on providing customers with the strongest and widest possible range of content in the areas of sports, news, and entertainment. That is why, starting in 2022, Ziggo will renew their offer in the Movies & Series packages L and XL. By partnering up with ViacomCBS Global Distribution Group, Ziggo is able to serve Movies & Series (X)L customers a variety of new titles, including many blockbusters and exclusive series from the well-known producers CBS, SHOWTIME® and Paramount Pictures.
Exclusive series and movies
Evil, City on a Hill, American Rust and Spy City are examples of new series with exclusive seasons. Evil follows a psychologist, played by Dutch actress Katja Herbers, a priest in training, and a contractor as they investigate the Church's backlog of unexplained mysteries to assess whether there is a logical explanation or if something supernatural is at work. The second season is coming exclusively to Movies & Series (X)L.
In American Rust (2021) with Jeff Daniels and Maura Tierney, police chief Del Harris investigates a dead body that has surfaced in an abandoned steel mill. When the son of the woman he loves is accused of murder, Harris is forced to decide what he is willing to do to protect him.
The following well-known and complete series are just a few of the titles that will be added to the new content list: Dexter, Ray Donovan, Californication and The Affair.
Movies & Series XL package
In addition to these new and exclusive titles, the Movies & Series XL package offers plenty of other standard extra content. Customers of Movies & Series XL get 40+ additional TV channels, including BBC Entertainment, Comedy Central Extra, National Geographic WILD, MTV 90s and many other music and children's channels.
Apart from this, some of the HBO top series, currently part of Movies & Series (X)L, will remain available throughout 2022, including Mare of Easttown, The White Lotus, and the third season of Succession.
