    Botic van de Zandschulp and Ziggo Sport form a doubles team

    Dutch world-class tennis deserves our full attention

    Dutch tennis champion Botic van de Zandschulp and Ziggo Sport have entered into a partnership. Both parties announced this today during the ABN AMRO World Tennis Tournament which can be followed daily this week via Ziggo Sport and in which Van de Zandschulp is one of the participants. The Dutchman is also a member of the Davis Cup team of the Netherlands, which is playing against Canada in The Hague on 4 and 5 March and whose matches will also be broadcast by Ziggo Sport.

    “We broadcast a great deal of tennis on our channels every year, including many matches of Van de Zandschulp. Dutch tennis is currently undergoing a revival with a number of excellent players, a trend that deserves full support and attention. Through the partnership with Botic, we will be devoting more attention to his matches and his partners and he will help us bring attention to all the tennis broadcast by Ziggo Sport”, says Marcel Beerthuizen, director of Ziggo Sport.

    Van de Zandschulp, currently ranked 50th in the world, is pleased with the cooperation: In my aim to break through to the absolute world top, I can certainly use all the support I can get from partners. Ziggo Sport will give me the opportunity to focus more on that and my fans and tennis enthusiasts will get more background information about my expectations and achievements."
