Ziggo will launch a new advertising campaign on Monday 30 January, developed by advertising agency WPP Go One in collaboration with Holyfools. We won’t be seeing the familiar neighbours again. Instead, the endless possibilities of technology take centre stage. The first four (mini) commercials will leave you marvelling at today's possibilities. The campaign comes together in one central message: “Make today fantastic”.

The four, ten-second TV commercials are supported by a nationwide radio, bus shelter, online and social media campaign. There will also be large displays on the Ziggo Dome and on the giant LED screen at the entrance to the head office at Hoog-Catharijne in Utrecht. Later, longer commercials and a brand activation will also follow, delving deeper into the essence of the Ziggo brand.

The new campaign highlights the endless possibilities of Ziggo's network, technology and content. Laura van Gestel, director of marketing communications at VodafoneZiggo: "The Netherlands has the most modern and reliable networks in the world, as we are constantly investing in the latest technologies. But technology is a means, not an end. As far as we’re concerned, what technology means to you and what you do with it every day is much more important. Only then will technology have real value."

According to Van Gestel, the campaign is entirely in keeping with these times when people are not only wondering how to make their lives easier and more enjoyable, but also how to stay connected with one another, with information and with entertainment at home and on the go. "We find that customers want to keep up. Technological developments are happening at lightning speed and we all want to make the most of them. That is why we go the extra mile to let our customers experience the possibilities of today and enjoy all the fantastic things happening," Van Gestel said.

Corporate identity
Ziggo also collaborated with WPP to give its corporate identity a subtle refresh, including new typography, new and more inclusive imagery and a new tone-of-voice. The new house style can be found not only in all advertising, but also in shops, on the Ziggo channel, on the six Ziggo Sport channels, online and in the Ziggo Go app.
